{ACLU}
Thank you my dear friends for helping to fundraise during my birthday month in June 2020.
Here is a RECAP of our collective work!
The ACLU challenges troubling public policies and promotes awareness of civil liberties issues. The aim is "to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to all people in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States." I believe the emphasis is on "ALL PEOPLE."
{HUMAN OPTIONS}
Human Options provides safe haven and life-changing programs to help abused women, their children and families rebuild their lives—and works with the community to break the cycle of domestic violence.
{WISEPLACE}
I've been involved with this organization since 2000. From 2012 until March 2020 I would come in with my dog, Bella, every week on Wednesday evenings. I continue to help now by donating in-kind items and fundraising. It's really a fantastic organization!
WISEPlace transforms the lives of approximately 90 women each year, by providing safe, affordable transitional housing, healthy meals, financial-empowerment curriculum and employment assistance, to help women move from homelessness and hopelessness to self-reliance. Case managers provide personalized counseling to help each woman overcome issues that led to unemployment and homelessness. During its history, WISEPlace has transformed the lives of more than 7,500 women.
In March 2018, in response to the evacuation of the Santa Ana River homeless encampment, WISEPlace stepped up and transformed its gym into an temporary emergency shelter and named it SAFEPlace with 60 beds in the space! This partnership with the County of Orange (in California) provides 24-hour shelter, three meals a day, shower and laundry facilities to the hundreds of unaccompanied women in the community facing homelessness. KINDNESSxAPRICITY fully supports and commends the wonderful staff at WISEPlace for creating a safe, clean, low-barrier refuge!
Supplies and funds are immensely important and greatly appreciated!

I would like to thank the following people and companies for being awesome by donating and/or contributing to this cause. Your support is immensely appreciated. Thank you so very much for lending a helping hand! We may not be able to help everyone, but just take comfort in knowing that our combined efforts can support someone who maybe only needed a little a help and kindness along the way to keep them going all the way!
Thank you in the millions!

{SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA POMERANIAN RESCUE}
Poms have a special place in my heart as they've filled it with so much love:
Both of my dog-ladies were Poms. Shadow lived to be 16. Bella lived to be 20.
They watch over me when I work now. → LINNIE'S SUPERVISORS
